Join us if you'd like to take leisurely road bike rides on the weekend through the scenic countryside around Boulder. Our pace will be slow compared to most cycling clubs, maybe a mild step up from cruiser rides. We'll just go at our own pace. A typical ride might be 20 miles roundtrip in the Boulder area. This is a casual Friday afternoon road or mountain ride leaving from the Morrison area. All abilities are welcome. This is intended as a social networking ride and also an excuse to get out of work early on the second and fourth Fridays of month. Socializing and antics in the parking lot after so BYOB and bring a camp chair. FAC Rides are presented by the young movers and shakers at Team Evergreen Cycling.
This meetup is about getting people together and heading out to fun riding destinations and doing multi-day supported bike trips. All trips will be supported, with transportation, a kitchen, coolers, and more. The bus has sofas and a TV, so you can chill, sleep, play games, or whatever you want to do on your way out to Moab, Fruita, Salida, and more! Join us to do some serious rides and some fun rides, and to turn the hassle of driving into a trip that's as fun as the riding once we get there.
